On September 1st, as the Moon passes between the Earth and Sun, an annular solar eclipse will occur.

The Moon, being at its farthest point from the Earth, will only partially obscure the Sun's light creating the appearance of a haloed ring. Though visible for mere minutes, the New Moon in Virgo crossing the Sun, also in Virgo, can have a lasting effect.

Virgo, the second largest constellation and sixth sign in the astrological Zodiac, is an Earth sign associated with analytical and methodical attention to detail. Never leaving anything to chance, Virgos are known for being organized and clearly defining their goals.

We have all been told to "focus on what's in front of you" and to "live in the moment". It all sounds great but without careful reflection on past experiences; we can limit our perspective and personal growth.
